Got a question from one of the attendees at a virtual conference today about how to cope during these challenging times.
Challenging times come and go. They come and go in our personal lives and they come and go in our professional lives. The question is not if we would be challenged. Because of one way or another we will. The question is how equipped we are, as people and as professionals, to cope. What tools do we have, what support do we have, how adaptable can we be.
During times of challenge, no matter what the challenge is, the absolute rule of thumb is to use The Rule of Much More. You need to be much more deliberate as a team member, as a community member, as a family member. You need to do much more in terms of self-care. you need to do much more in terms of focus and adaptability and you need to do much more in order to support others.
Times of challenge do not last forever. The storms in life come and go. Use The Rule of Much More in whatever you do as you weather the storm. Keep your head high and take pride in how you carry yourself through challenges.
